| Endurance
is an accumulation of consistent, stamina based training
of the body and powerful self-talk of the mind. Although
it is becoming evident that the body now seems capable
of developing different levels of fast and slow twitch
muscle fibres, dependent upon the type of exercise one
regularly partakes in. It is still impossible to make
fast developments in training through these methods.
Changes in muscle fibre type is extremely slow, running
into months and years rather than weeks. For this reason
alone one should not only concentrate on gradual, consistent
development of physical muscular endurance training
but the mental stamina that is required in elite competition.
Endurance athletes require a greater percentage of slow
twitch muscle fibre which is predominately aerobic (oxygen
burning) with a lower heart rate level.
Ninety percent of endurance is based in the mind; you
have this power of mind within you. Hypnosis has the
ability to re-focus and draw out this power.
The use of Hypnosis in the run up to an event can have
the effect of developing coping strategies when doubts
in abilities to ‘carry on’ are exposed.
Having an arsenal of positive suggestions for various
occurrences can push one beyond what’s usually

is far stronger than the body, your mind out stretches
your muscles in endurance. You
have endless energy. Your dietary preparation before
an event enables your body to store the required amount
of glycogen in your muscles for top performance. You
turn on in your mind the switch that regulates the hormones
and biochemicals responsible for your athletic stamina,
endurance and determination. You
can tap your reserves of determination and motivation
whenever you need them, and you do. When
the going gets tough, your mental determination is switched
on. Hypertrophy
is easy for you.
